Tamarack Academy Admissions 2008-09
Your decision to enroll in Tamarack Academy is among the most important you will ever make. To submit your application for consideration, please follow these steps:
- Be sure you understand the Tuition and Fees. There are significant discounts for local residents and families who enroll multiple children. Tuition includes curriculum, instruction, the physical education program, and a student season pass at Tamarack Resort, but does not include books, fees, participation in Team Tamarack (optional competitive athletic program), or a computer (certain coursework requires computer access).
- Complete the Application for Admission.You may either print the form and handwrite your responses, or you may enter your responses into the online PDF and then print the form.
- Be sure to sign your application form.
- Print and deliver a Recommendation Form and a stamped envelope to each of two people, per the instructions on the form.
- If you choose to apply for a scholarship/financial aid, print and complete the Scholarship Application.
- Enclose your non-refundable Application Fee ($25 for applicants within the US or $75 for applicants outside the US).
- Submit your Application for Admission, Application Fee, and (optional) Scholarship Application to the Director of Admissions (see below for contact information). The application deadline is July 31, 2008. Applications submitted after that date will only be considered on a space-available basis.
- Arrange a site visit and interview. You must visit our campus and arrange an in-person interview. Please contact the Director of Admissions at the address below to coordinate the visit.
- Await a response. The Admissions Department will make every attempt to notify you of its decision within two weeks of receipt of your application form and fee, request for financial aid (if appropriate), and recommendation forms.
- Confirm your enrollment. If accepted, you must confirm your enrollment and submit your non-refundable Tuition Deposit ($500) by July 15, 2008. If we receive your deposit by the date due, you will receive an additional $100 credit toward your first tuition payment.
